The Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has been an enormous hit. The Activision boss, Eric Hirshberg, seemed to be just as surprised as some others and openly admitted that the release was always a risk, saying that you cannot know if a mass audience will exist until you give it the chance to. He said that Crash Bandicoot had gone above and beyond everyone’s expectations. Off the back of this, it has been hinted that other titles from the past may be given a new lease of life.

Many are now wondering if Spyro the Dragon is going to be the next Activision game to be revived. There has been no definite reference to it but fans remain hopeful, as there have been calls for remasters since the announcement of Crash Bandicoot. Since the initial release, there has been a game called The Skylanders featuring Spyro but this didn’t quite hit the spot.
