Battlefield V is Officially Announced

The lead-up to this announcement hasn’t been easy – EA have been plagued with leaks, and people have all been contributing information to build up the hype. But we’ve had very few facts, up until now. There is an official game trailer and some details about gameplay are now readily available.

The setting of the game is WWII, but not as we know it. There isn’t going to be a Battle Royale mode in the game, answering a lot of people’s questions. There will be plenty of new modes and features though, including the ability to repair bridges (as in previous games), tow objects like AA guns and tanks, and squad reinforcements will be available.

The release of the game is slightly confusing. It is due for official release on the 19th October 2018, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. However, if you buy the deluxe edition or are an EA Access member, the game will be available to you earlier.
