Warframe is a new online game which is free-to-play, and set for release on the 2nd of September 2014. It has been produced by Digital Extremes, who’ve also produced game titles such as Bioshock, and the Unreal Tournament franchise.

Warframe is a first person shooter game with a focus placed upon cooperative activities, which take place between you and other players. You play in either a team or by yourself in a person versus NPC (non-player-characters), as one of the sole defenders of your homeland, battling against enemy hoards set on the destruction of your civilisation.

You have an assortment of weapons to choose from, from traditional weapons like bows, guns and knives, as well as some secret new weapons which you can discover for yourselves by playing the game.

The maps are randomly generated, which leaves you with some similarities from one game to the next, but there will always be some differences, ensuring that nobody grows too familiar with the map and that you never get bored.
