The SNES Classic Mini console has been described as a near-perfect replica of the original console. It evokes nostalgia in abundance, making gamers from the 90s era reminiscent of the fun they used to have playing Super Mario games on the Nintendos. The angle is working – pre-sale figures have been good and now customers are attempting, mostly in vain, to find the last few consoles left in the shops.

The console itself is designed to be like the original and everything is perfectly in place. Even the parts that no longer have a function are still there, like the cartridge flap and eject button. Other aspects of the design have been kept in tact, like the reset and power buttons.

Players will have access to 21 games that are loaded onto the console. These include:
